Parents, Partners, Children: Navigating Tough Conversations Around Aging and Caregiving

Part of UWRA's Aging Well series

The life changes that come with aging may lead to challenging conversations regarding future health, caregiving, or financial matters. Whether you need to communicate with a parent, a partner, or an adult child, these conversations can be sensitive and emotionally charged, often touching on questions of autonomy, independence and trust.

In this one-hour online session, David La Fazia, PhD, MSW, an experienced social worker and gerontology expert, will guide you through a process of planning and preparation that will help lead to clear and compassionate communication.
