Denny & Founders Hall Tour: The Old and the New
Two buildings with two very different styles and histories, each iconic in its own right. This unique tour will feature Randy Everett, the retired Project Manager for the 2016 renovation of Denny Hall, and Dean Frank Hodge, from the UW Foster School of Business.
Denny Hall was completed in 1895 and is the oldest building on the Seattle campus. Randy will tour us through the 2016 transformation that uncovered historical cornerstones and reintroduced the central staircase and skylights. Then we will walk over to Founders Hall, where Dean Hodge will tour us through the new building, a model of sustainable design and construction.
