Explore CoMotion, UW’s Innovation Incubator
Come learn about CoMotion’s work providing services to UW’s innovators, helping them take their high-impact ideas to market. Start in the Idea Lab for a presentation by CoMotion’s director, François Baneyx. Professor Baneyx will describe CoMotion’s work with faculty and students and tell us about some startup success stories. In the last five years, CoMotion helped to facilitate 2,160 licenses and 52 UW spinoffs! Then take a tour of CoMotion’s incubators in Fluke Hall.
CoMotion Labs is a multi-industry incubator for early-stage startups from the greater Seattle region, in addition to the UW community. From providing critical infrastructure to opportunities for learning, mentoring, and networking, CoMotion Labs nurtures and enables success. The labs operate in three incubators on the UW Seattle campus, each focusing on a particular industry sector: life sciences and hardware in Fluke Hall, and technology in Startup Hall.
