Philanthropic gifts — whether through membership dues or a direct gift to our operating endowment — fund 100% of UWRA’s non-salary operations. When you make a gift to support UWRA, you’re funding:

• Legislative advocacy on issues that matter most to UW retirees, including health care, state pensions, and more.
• Events and programs designed to serve the needs and interests of UW retirees.
• Recognition and celebration of recently retired faculty and staff and retirees dedicated to community service.
• Reduced or waived membership dues and event registration fees for retirees for whom those dues and fees would present a barrier to participation.
• Scholarships and fellowships for UW students pursuing research and careers related to aging.
