Do you have questions about the UW Benefits Office, Medicare, and health plan options for non-Medicare-Eligible retirees? These topics and more are gathered in an easy-to-access format with an opportunity to ask questions in each session.

Our informative webinars are open to all, but they will be especially useful for those who have already retired or are planning to retire in the coming year. Mix and match your own program — drop in on just the sessions that interest you or make a day of it! Webinar links will be sent via email upon registration.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 23: BENEFITS DECISION-MAKING FOR UW RETIREES
Before attending these Benefits sessions, you may wish to attend our new Health Insurance 101 webinar on Friday, October 16 at 1 pm or watch the recording afterwards. We also recommend watching our past program called Medicare 101.

10:30 – 12:00 — Your Retiree Health Benefits 
Join UW Benefits consultant Wendy Godfrey for a deep dive into benefits for UW retirees, including a brief overview of the ways Medicare and UW benefits interact.

1:00 – 2:30 — Health Insurance Options for Medicare-Eligible UW Retirees 
Join Laura Ryan from the Washington State Health Care Authority to understand your plan options, including Uniform Medical, Kaiser Permanente, United Healthcare’s Medicare Advantage plan, and Medicare Part F and G Supplemental plans.

2:45 – 3:30 — Health Insurance Options for Non-Medicare UW Retirees
Laura Ryan from the Washington State Health Care Authority will explain plan options for retirees who are not yet Medicare eligible.
