The committee takes a broad view of work that is related to aging and has selected recipients from a wide variety of units, including epidemiology, biochemistry, neurology, psychosocial and community health, biocultural anthropology, biomedical and health informatics, genome sciences, political science, nursing, landscape architecture, law, library and information sciences, comparative history of ideas, public health, pharmacy, public affairs, molecular biology, speech and hearing sciences, rehabilitation medicine, and social work.
