The committee has been deeply involved in articulating UWRA’s mission, vision, and values, as well as our land acknowledgement. The committee works closely with the relevant UWRA standing committees to ensure that our commitment to promoting the multi-faceted aspects of gender, racial, and social justice are expressed across the organization’s many activities and collaborations. The committee also engages in outreach efforts across the UW, making connections with OMAD, with the diversity-focused units within the Graduate School, the Center for American Indian and Indigenous Studies, and the UW Office of Tribal Relations.
